FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Up to 7 days before arrival, guests can cancel free of charge. The guest pays an amount equal to the first night in case of cancellation in the 7 days before arrival. In the event of a no-show, the guest will be charged the total price of the booking.

During opening hours you can store your luggage at reception.

From 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Our reception is staffed from 7 a.m. If you want to leave earlier, you can put the key in the mailbox on the 5th floor (reception).

You don't need a lock with us. You have a locker with NFC technology and a USB-C port inside - to charge your phone.

If you are under 18 years old, we need the consent of one of your parents. Please send this to us by email before arrival, stating the booking number. (hallo@hostelmannheim.de)

We have a spacious bike room, inside, locked and monitored. With check-in you get access.

We have 2 washing machines and 2 dryers that you can use free of charge. You will receive access at check-in. Rooms are in the basement.

We do offer free cereals and fruits from 7-11 a.m. In addition to cow's milk, there is also soy and oat milk.

Breakfast is available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the 5th floor (reception)

Smoking is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will result in a report being filed and all cleaning costs will be charged. If the fire alarm system goes off, the rescue operation will also be charged in full.

Unnecessary. By your bed you have a bedside lamp and a USB port to charge your devices. You can also charge your devices in your locker.

Each floor has a fully equipped kitchen. Cooking is allowed until 10 p.m. As you cook, please remember that you are not alone. (noise/smells)

Vinegar, oil, spices, microwave, kettle & dishwasher available.

Each bunkbed has its own curtain that you can draw. Guests only have access to their booked floor and dorm. The 4th floor is for girls only. External persons have no access to our hostel.

Public areas are under video surveillance.

2 lie on your beds - you don't need to bring your own. Towels are included.

You don't need to bring your own one. We have shower gel dispensers in the showers and soap dispensers.

You have high-speed internet throughout the hostel. Passwords and QR codes for logging in are posted.

Are you on your wanderings?

It doesn't matter if you're a Vogtländer or you belong to a pit. Be welcome. There is always something to do.

If possible, please register in advance.

Bachelor party or hen party? First drink is on us!

Yes - just send us an email and let us know how long you want to stay. We will then inform you of the conditions for your stay as soon as possible.

That is possible. Be sure to contact us with enough advance notice. So that we can also offer you all beds.

The Hostel Mannheim expressly accepts no liability for the loss of valuables (in particular jewelry, cash, laptops, cell phones).

Please lock your valuables in the locker. Opportunity makes thieves!

The 1st floor is barrier-free: wide doors, grab bars in the shower and toilet. Shower seat and emergency pull cord in the toilet. The elevator goes up to the 4th floor.
